Nuxt 4 Dev Stack

Nuxt 4 with a full backend stack out of the box. Postgres, Redis, and Adminer are pre-wired. Nitro server routes are ready to write, and environment variable handling between dev and production is documented so you don't have to figure it out from scratch.

What's Included

• Nuxt 4 with Vite dev server and HMR
• Nitro server routes pre-configured — write server/api/ endpoints immediately
• Postgres 16 for persistent data
• Redis 7 for server-side caching or session storage
• Adminer for visual DB management

Developer Experience

• Nuxt starts with nuxi dev --host so HMR reaches your browser over localhost
• useRuntimeConfig() example in the starter route — public and private env vars handled correctly
• DATABASE_URL and REDIS_URL available in Nitro server context via runtimeConfig
• Node modules cached in a named volume to avoid re-installing on every restart

• docker-compose.yml — all four services
• Dockerfile — dev stage (nuxi dev) and production stage (nuxi build + node server)
