Proxmox Monitoring Stack
InfluxDB + Grafana pre-wired for Proxmox — dashboards for nodes, VMs, LXCs, and storage ready in one command.
Proxmox Monitoring Stack
Stop flying blind in your homelab. This Docker Compose stack connects directly to Proxmox's built-in metrics endpoint and gives you real dashboards in under five minutes — node CPU/RAM/temps, per-VM and per-LXC resource usage, storage utilization, and network throughput, all pre-configured and ready on first boot.
What's Included
- InfluxDB 2 — Time-series database with a pre-created bucket and API token for Proxmox
- Grafana 13 — Dashboards auto-provisioned on startup via the provisioning directory
- 4 Pre-built Dashboards — Node overview, VM/LXC inventory, storage health, and network I/O
- Proxmox metrics bridge config — Drop-in config snippet for your Proxmox node to start shipping metrics
- Alerting rules — Pre-configured Grafana alerts for high CPU, low disk, and node unreachable
How It Works
- Run
docker compose up -don any machine on your LAN - Paste the provided one-liner into your Proxmox node's metrics config
- Open Grafana — dashboards are already loaded, data starts flowing immediately
- Works with single-node and multi-node Proxmox clusters
- Persistent volumes keep your data across container restarts
